Dennis O'Brien | Dennis O'Brien is the founder and president of The Space Treaty Project, a California-based nonprofit focused on promoting peace and sustainability in outer space. He is a computer, robotic, space, and utility systems engineer with over 46 years of experience. He currently serves in several capacities, including: Director of Strategic Relationships for the National Space Society, Founder, President and CEO of Xtraordinary Innovative Space Partnerships, Inc. (XISP-Inc), and Vice President of the Moon Village Association. |
Ghanim Alotaibi (Space Renaissance International) | Ghanim Alotaibi is a PhD candidate at the University of Strathclyde, focusing on thermal management for advanced Solar Power Satellites. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from Kuwait University and has worked as a petroleum engineer. Ghanim has a background in astronomy and solar energy and has successfully launched a satellite project for Kuwait University. He is involved in various space organizations, including the Space Generation Advisory Council and the Moon Village – Participation of Emerging Space Countries. Ghanim is also a board member at the Space Renaissance Initiative and co-chairs the young generation committee. He founded the Advance Space Civilization Initiative to promote space research and education in developing countries. |
Guy Pignolet | Guy Pignolet is a French engineer and researcher born on March 28, 1942 in St. Pierre Eglise, France. He holds a degree in engineering from Ecole Polytechnique, Paris (1963) and a Doctor of Philosophy-AbD from Cornell University (1972). Pignolet served as a Lieutenant in the French Navy (1963-1964) and worked as a field manager for Schlumberger Overseas in Paris (1964-1969) and a high school teacher for the French National Education in St. Rose, La Reunion, France (1973-1980). He was a future studies engineer at the Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (French Space Agency) in Paris from 1981 to 2003 and chaired the education committee of the International Federation of Astronautics in Paris from 1991 to 1997. Pignolet is a member of the Solar Sailing Association, which he founded and chaired from 1991 to 2000, and Space Renaissance International. He was the national coordinator for the school satellite project "Sputnik 40 Years" in 1997 and has been listed as a noteworthy engineer and researcher by Marquis Who's Who. |
Marie-Luise Heuser | Dr. phil. Marie-Luise Heuser is a philosopher and university lecturer at several German universities. She is the Executive Director of The Society for Space Culture and Head of the Space and Culture Department in the German Aerospace Society (DGLR). Her research focuses on the philosophy of space travel, space theories, philosophy of nature, art and technology, metaphysics, ontology, and anthropology. She is also the Head of the Space Philosophy Laboratory at Space Renaissance Academy. Sumana Mukherjee | Sumana Mukherjee is an aerospace engineer from Kolkata, India. She has a Bachelor's degree from India and a Master's in Space Engineering from TU Delft and the University of Bremen (Partially Completed). Her experience includes small satellite missions, lunar habitat radiation shield design at ZARM, autonomous lunar rover navigation with ESA, and working with Indian space startups. Sumana is the founder of Sustain-A-Verse, an online magazine promoting ethical, sustainable fashion and its synergies with circular economy space exploration. His main research interests are space resources, space manufacturing, AI law and industrial astrobiology. He has been instrumental in developing and enhancing educational and scientific projects for young space lawyers in Europe, including: ECSL Summer Course on Space Law and Policy, European Round of the IISL, Young Lawyers’ Symposium, Practitioner’s Forum, several National Workshops and Conferences. Prof. Marchisio is also a prolific author, having published over 200 articles, encyclopedic entries, and collected works in legal journals, mostly peer-reviewed. He has contributed to over 180 scientific conferences, demonstrating his significant impact on the development of space law. |

Mikhail Baskov (iDare Space Travel) | Mikhail Baskov has a diverse background in the aerospace and aviation industries. He was trained as a rocket scientist at Bauman Moscow State Technical University in Russia, specialising in the "Deep Space" (SM2) department, where he also worked at Youth Space Center - involved in multiple cooperation programs between students of Russia, USA and UK. Mikhail has worked at various organisations, including Boeing, two airlines, one airport, several aircraft leasing and trading companies, event at two drilling rigs in Arctic snow. In 2009 he moved to Ireland and in 2022 he founded iDare Space Travel Limited - Ireland's first space tourism travel agency. In his free time he is a skydiving instructor at the Irish Parachute Club. |
Haroon Oqab (Kepler Space University) | Haroon Oqab is President and CEO of the Kepler Space University. Graduated of The University of Western Ontario with Master of Engineering degrees in Mechanical and Materials Engineering (Automation Technologies and Systems) and Electrical and Computer Engineering (Robotics and Control), he also holds Bachelor of Science Honours Specializations in Kinesiology and Medical Biophysics (Physical Science Concentration).
